The ritual of immersing oneself in a forest bath in Japan. The Tri Hita Karana, Bali’s philosophy of happiness; or the magic of the blue zones, regarded as the places with the greatest longevity in the world thanks to a combination of factors that include the power of community, the regional diet, or the climate.
In recent years, we have discovered that travel is no longer solely about experiencing a destination as a spectator, but about delving into it, discovering new ways of living and learning from each place. This new way of understanding travel is what inspires NUBA Wellness, the new offering from NUBA. A proposition in which well-being ceases to be a mere accompaniment and becomes the starting point from which each experience is designed.
We discovered it during the recent launch event of this new chapter at the Francisco Giner de los Ríos Foundation in Madrid.
NUBA Wellness: Traveling Alone Was Only the Beginning
We tend to think that a wellness trip should be an itinerary to which wellness treatments are added as a complement, but what if we went further? What if a trip does not end upon returning home and our life can continue to be nourished by all the lessons learned?

With more than 30 years of experience in designing tailor-made journeys, NUBA Wellness emerges from all those questions. An evolution of both the concept of wellness and the traveler’s own motivations: from health to prevention, including longevity, nutrition, sleep, exercise, or stress management as components of an increasingly broad and universal vision of a fully integrated wellness within the narrative.
