Places We’ve Traveled to for 080 Barcelona Fashion

28 October 2026

Everyone wants to be at 080 Barcelona Fashion. It is evident in the long queues for the shows, on social media, in attendees’ looks, and in conversations about the latest happenings of each edition. The fashion platform has become the ultimate expression of creativity thanks to programs that bring together emerging talents, young designers and more established brands that already count a devoted following. Yet, with an identity that keeps innovation, sustainability, and craftsmanship in focus. Its 38th edition was no exception; in fact, it was more.

The first journey begins with the very tickets to the Catalan city, already turned into the capital of a fashion that breaks rules and upends conventions. One of the most entertaining pastimes of the journey is guessing (level: easy) which people from your train or plane you’ll encounter hours later strolling through Port Vell (Marina Vela), a location that repeats as the setting and reinforces the event’s traveling identity. There, among docked boats and a traditional Mediterranean tableau, people go from one side to the other in an atmosphere reminiscent of any festival. In the rear hangar, the concrete floor doubles as a runway and the venue’s metal structures serve as props, perfect for creating an industrial atmosphere devoid of any ornamentation—the garments themselves take care of that.

38ª edición 080 Barcelona Fashion

‘Nòmade’, 080 REBORN.

The traveler’s statement was the sharpest of all right from the start. 080 REBORN opened the runway and premiered the roster of 26 labels that would showcase there from October 20 to 23. This initiative, now celebrating its fifth edition, champions second-hand clothing and circular fashion as a reassertion of the value of garments. Its creative directors, the stylist duo Fermín + Guilles, consistently pursue a narrative anchored in sustainability and recount the story of each piece, acquired in second-hand stores, social organizations, recycling plants, and vintage markets.

In this edition, the looks have become a tribute to travel with the collection Nòmade, the idea that items live in constant movement. Our garments transform over time, with the people who wear them, with the places they move through, fashion never stops migrating. The first model leaves a suitcase at the center of the catwalk that remains there throughout the show as the central axis that shapes the entire collection. 080 REBORN demonstrated movement in the volumes and the drape, and the passage of time in the layering of the pieces, an ode to the multiple lives of a single garment.
