Sevilla puts the focus back on the river with the return of Gastrogarden Fest, the gastronomic festival that will bring together authorial cuisine, live music, and foodie experiences in the heart of the city from May 15 to 17. The event marks its second edition on Paseo de Colón and Marqués de Contadero and will transform the Guadalquivir riverside for three days into one of the main meeting points of Seville’s spring.
After the success of its first edition, the event returns with an expanded program in which gas cuisine will be the main highlight. One of the most popular spaces will again be La Tapería, where some of the most interesting names in the Seville hospitality scene will participate. Restaurants such as Desacato, Barra Baja, Eterno or Sal Gorda will reprise their involvement in the festival, and this year proposals such as Augurio, Abazero, or Anónimo will also join.
Beyond tapas, this Sevillian gastronomic festival aims to broaden the experience into something much wider. The program will include showcookings, cooking workshops, round tables, and sensory tastings accompanied by live music. Among the planned activities stand out the musical wine tastings, the cocktail and specialty coffee workshops, or proposals designed to be savored slowly by the river.
The participatory atmosphere will once again be another major draw of this edition. Throughout the weekend there will be creative workshops such as floral decoration by The Flower Workshop, specialty coffee experiences with Ineffable Coffee, and cocktail proposals from Maldito Cocktail Bar. Musical tastings coordinated by Martina Trader will also return, one of the festival’s most recognizable activities.

With this second edition, Gastrogarden Fest aims to establish itself as one of Seville’s essential gastronomic appointments: a festival open to the public that blends creative cuisine, leisure, and outdoor ambience in one of the city’s most recognizable settings.
