The countdown has begun for Zaragoza to become the city of flowers. The reason? The landscape festival ZGZ Florece!
From Thursday, May 21 to Sunday, May 24, the Aragonese capital hosts the sixth edition of this colorful event, whose theme this year is: “The garden we imagine” and which in 2025 drew more than 360,000 visitors, establishing itself as a national and international benchmark of contemporary floral art.
The festival’s setting returns to the Parque Grande José Antonio Labordeta, which will host not only stunning floral installations carried out by associations of florists and artists in the sector – among them the renowned maestro Tomas de Bruyne – but also cultural and culinary offerings.
In 2026, the event will mark a particularly symbolic milestone: the restoration of the Francisco Loscos Botanical Garden, an emblematic corner that has been recently renovated and aims to become the city’s green heart.
For four days, the park’s monuments, corners and fountains will be transformed into stunning ornamental gardens that are worth visiting. The live exhibitions and demonstrations by florists with national and international recognition will blend art and sustainability into a true feast for the senses.
Additionally, spaces already established will be maintained, such as the Flower Market, where the public can discover and purchase products linked to the plant world; the gastronomy area, with an expanded array of food trucks; and the rest area with live music, designed to enjoy the atmosphere in a privileged natural setting.
