How many objects have quietly become part of your story, almost without you noticing? A blanket that has accompanied you for years, a candle that later becomes a small decorative container, or a ceramic piece that shifts from corner to corner with every move.
Centered on the relationship we establish with the everyday pieces that surround us, the launch of A Celebration of Everyday Beauty, the newly released collection created by artist Justine Franco in collaboration with Kave Home, revolved around this idea.
The collection brings together 13 pieces of ceramics and textiles in which the visual universe of the Mallorcan artist, marked by color, simplified forms, and cultural references, is translated into objects designed to coexist with us. A collaboration that finds its meaning in everyday details and in everything that, over time, comes to acquire its own significance.
During the encounter, the artist shared a curious reflection about her relationship with her own creations: once finished, she doesn’t feel attached to them. She envisions them so that someone else can enjoy them and, in fact, does not have any of her works hanging in her home. Perhaps there lies part of the essence of this collection, in understanding that a piece begins its life when it leaves the shop or studio.
