Qatar Airways once again tops one of the World Airline Awards’ most significant categories: Best Airline in the World for Business Class. The Qatari carrier has earned this recognition for the thirteenth time in a awards program that draws on passenger ratings from travelers representing over a hundred nationalities. In the 2026 edition, held in London, the airline also collected three additional honors: Best Airline in the Middle East, Best Business Class Lounge in the World, and Best Wi‑Fi connectivity on board worldwide. It also maintains Skytrax’s five‑star rating.
Total Privacy, a New Standard in Business Class
But what lies behind that acclaim for Business Class? One clue lies with Qsuite, Qatar Airways’ flagship product. Available on aircraft configured in this layout, the suite features its own door and was designed to provide a private space to work, dine, or rest. Its arrangement allows travelers to fly solo, as a couple, or up to four people using movable panels that can be opened to create a shared area.
The seats, spacious and reclining, transform into fully horizontal beds, designed to make long‑haul flights more comfortable. In addition, the personalized service includes pillows, a plush mattress, and a soft, padded blanket that promote rest. The rest won’t be interrupted thanks to the “Do Not Disturb” indicator on the door of each suite.
Among the onboard features are a personal screen with the Oryx One entertainment system, which offers up to 8,000 options, alongside USB, HDMI, NFC, and Starlink Wi‑Fi.
