If you’ve ever fantasized about walking through Diagon Alley but you’re still waiting for your Hogwarts letter, this new opening might interest you…
London is about to add another must-visit stop for Harry Potter fans: on November 4 the largest official store of the magical saga in the United Kingdom will open, a space of nearly 2,000 square meters –distributed across two floors– in the heart of Oxford Street.
The flagship’s proposal goes beyond filling the shelves with wands, cloaks and souvenirs: the aim is to recreate the atmosphere of the famous shopping street of the magical universe through themed spaces, iconic elements of the saga and immersive experiences designed to enchant visitors.
From Gringotts to the Leaky Cauldron: A Magical Journey
The ambience will feature numerous details and magical corners with the aim that the visit not be limited to browsing the store’s products.
One of the main protagonists of the establishment will be the Ukrainian Ironbelly dragon, which will dominate the Gringotts-inspired zone. The imposing creature, which fans will remember for its role in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, will watch over visitors from above, in a recreation that evokes its presence above the vaults of the magical bank.
