What to See at 3 Days of Design: Copenhagen’s Must-See Design Event

2 July 2026

Design, exploration, and innovation converge at 3 Days of Design, Denmark’s premier design festival. From June 10 to 12, as part of a program devoted to flowing toward a forecast of imaginative, creative, and inspiring solutions; more than 600 exhibitors present exhibitions, events, immersive installations, and interventions across the eight design districts of the Danish capital.

With a world saturated by thoughts and desires fixated on the future in mind, this new edition of 3 Days of Design poses the question: what is the essence of design? “People often seek answers in the legends of the past, while others look toward the future. Where does the real answer lie? In the present. Where the only moment that matters is now,” notes the design festival.

Responding to a collective design need to express the present without losing sight of what matters and under the theme “Make this moment count”, 3 Days of Design does not hesitate to delve into “a world craving depth,” from the heart of Copenhagen.

The 3 Days of Design symposium 2026.

The 3 Days of Design symposium tightens its ties to the power of the present to shape the future. This is how “Entering the Now” invites the global design community to rethink its relationship with time, guided by the urgent need to actively engage with the present.

Curated by AI expert Tey Bannerman and social entrepreneur Veronica D’Souza, the symposium mirrors the festival’s 2026 theme, shifting the focus: moving from designing the future to deeply engaging with the present to sustain a meaningful transformation across ecological, technological, and social dimensions.

The talks led by Paola Antonelli, Yinka Ilori, Alice Rawsthorne, Natsai Audrey Chieza, and Anupama Kundoo aim to offer a perspective on how design can function as a cultural, social, and environmental force. The program unfolds across five sessions at KLUB, located at the heart of the Danish capital.

Each session concentrates on a distinct facet of the festival’s theme, for instance: “Exploring consciousness as the engine of change”; “What matters: examining value beyond accumulation”; and “Waste: Rethinking and reusing excess, why less is more.” Tickets are available for purchase for 3 Days of Design.
